FAQ - Shipping & Return

SECTION 1 - GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

CVJ delivers within the continental United States. It is our goal to ship all orders within two (2) business days.

Should items immediately became out of stock, we will notify you either by email or phone. If we don’t hear back from you, we will either refund the item as part of the order or the whole order.

* CVJ ships to 48 Continental States.

** CVJ does not ship to APO/FPO addresses at this time.

*** PO BOX is deliverable only thru USPS

SECTION 2 - SHIPPING RATES

All orders within the continental United States, amounting to at least $59.00 with total weight of under 15 pounds will be shipped free of charge. 

For orders within the continental United States that are under $59.00 are shipped as either Economy or Priority.

Expedited options are available at additional shipping cost. The additional cost will be calculated at checkout and offered to you as options.

For orders over 15 pounds, additional shipping costs may apply. 

Additional charges may apply if packages are redirected, an incorrect address was provided, or is undeliverable. We are not responsible for shipping charges related to incorrect or missing information.

The minimum free shipping dollar amount excludes discounts, promotions, sales tax, and shipping.

SECTION 3 - TAXES

Items sold through our Site may be subject to taxes and other governmental charges. If an item is subject to taxes, prior to submitting your purchase request, an estimated tax will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

SECTION 4 - SHIPPING METHODS

We use United States Postal Service (“USPS”), United Parcel Service (“UPS”) and Dalsey, Hillblom and Lynn (“DHL”).  The estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.

When your order is shipped, an order update will be emailed to you with a tracking number. You may track your order directly from the carrier’s website.

SECTION 5 - CHANGING SHIPPING ADDRESS

If you wish to change your shipping address after you have submitted your order, please email us immediately at info@cvjasianmarket.com. If the order has not been processed, we will update the delivery address. Unfortunately, should the order be shipped already, you will not be able to change it. It is our goal to provide prompt delivery service, which includes fulfilling your quickly.

SECTION 6 - UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES OR MISSING ITEMS

CVJ shall work with our partner shipping carriers to promptly deliver packages to you. In the event packages are delayed, damaged, re-routed, and/or incorrectly delivered, we shall work with the shipping carriers to rectify. This process may significantly delay the delivery of your package.

We make every effort to help ensure there are no incorrect or missing items in your order. Should this occur, within 3 days of the receipt of shipment, please notify us at info@cvjasianmarket.com. Any adjustments thereafter shall be at the sole discretion of CVJ.

Undeliverable packages due to customers incomplete address is subject to refund policy.

Refund policy

It is CVJ Asian Market LLC (or CVJ)’s goal to provide our customers with an excellent shopping experience. Our Site offers a wide variety of products including consumables, perishables, and durables. Due to this wide variety of products, our Return Policy varies depending on the product type. Please see below for type specific policies.

SECTION 1 - GENERAL RETURN INFORMATION 

We will generally accept returns if the item is in its original packaging, unused, has not been tampered with, and is in sellable condition. If an item was damaged, expired, or defective: 

  • Within 3 business days of receipt of shipment, please notify us at info@cvjasianmarket.com
  • Subject to item availability, we will provide you with a replacement or refund. 
  • We will process your request within 3 business days.
  • Customers may be required to take photos and submit claims to process refunds of damaged goods.

Items that are not eligible for return: 

  • Items marked on our website as clearance items are not eligible for return.
  • Items purchased using coupons are not eligible for return.
  • Items that are damaged, used, tampered with, or in unsellable condition due to the customer are not eligible for return. 
  • Open or tampered with consumable items such as food, snacks, groceries, and certain health products are not eligible for return. 
  • Damage as result of multiple unsuccessful delivery attempts are not eligible for return.
  • Bakery related items. We ship baked items out fresh, however delays in delivery by our shipping carriers may impact freshness upon arrival. These delays are beyond our control. Refunds and returns will not be issued. Kindly order at your own risk.
  • Perishables are neither returnable nor refundable.

Return shipping:  

  • We will pay for return shipping if the item was damaged, expired, defective, or we sent the wrong item. 
  • If the item is being returned for other reasons, such as buying too much, no longer needed, you purchased the wrong item, or you submitted an incomplete or incorrect delivery address, you will be responsible for shipping. Additionally, a 15% restocking fee will be assessed on the returned item.

SECTION 2 – PRODUCT TYPE RETURN POLICIES

Durables:

  • If the item was damaged, expired, or defective, you have 3 business days from the receipt of shipment to request a return. 
  • The item must be in its original packaging, unused, has not been tampered with, and is in sellable condition.

SECTION 3 – RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

Please contact our customer service with your order number and a reason for return at info@cvjasianmarket.com. Return instructions will be provided within 2 business days.

Upon receipt of your return, please allow 3 business days to inspect and process your return.  Refunds will be issued upon successful completion.  Refunds will be made in the original form of payment associated with the order. It may take up to 30 business days for the refund to be reflected on your bank statement.
